She bought her first pharmacy shortly after graduating from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Pharmacy. In 2003, Ms. Leatherwood became the first woman to be named president of the National Community Pharmacists Association (NCPA). Eleanor M. Vogt, RPh, PhD, is health sciences clinical professor at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) School of Pharmacy, where she held the 2004-2005 Presidential Chair. Dr. Vogt earned a Bachelor of Science in pharmacy from Creighton University in Omaha, Ne.; her doctorate, from the University of Wisconsin, is in educational administration.
